Welcome to Burrow Detroit, a sanctuary for abandoned and crisis surrendered rabbits and guinea pigs.

I was blessed with meeting Doris (Burrow Detroit) after someone surrendered a box of guinea pigs at my work. Being a vet clinic for cats and dogs only, no one knew what to do with all of them. Doris was willing to help by taking the females. They have been flourishing ever since. Burrow Detroit is AMAZING!!

I was just coming home from work when I found a stray guinea pig outside my apartment. Cozy Cavy directed me to Burrow Detroit since they are closer and specifically help small pets. Doris was able to meet me and take the guinea pig.

You are angels for what you did! Burrow Detroit provided a safe and compassionate environment to help me rehouse my pets after a series of devastating personal life events.

I met Doris when I adopted a very spicy bun Freckles. Her devotion to fostering animals in need was very inspiring. The commitment she has shown to bunnies and now guinea pigs is exactly what these tiny animals need. I am grateful for her and Burrow Detroit!
